Looking for an Int/Adv teacher

Hey all, I'm pretty new to the area and am looking for an intermediate to advanced teacher in East Bay or San Francisco. I particularly like Egyptian style, but am amenable to Cabaret or Tribal Fusion. I'm not very interested in ATS. I need a teacher who offers drop in rates or class cards as I'm a grad student and can rarely commit to a whole set of classes as some teachers prefer.

Since moving here I have studied with Mira Betz, and really enjoy her classes and her emphasis on strong technique. I'd like to add in another class or two that focus on putting the dance together and performance skills.

Other teachers I've found are Jill Parker, TerriAnne Gutierrez, Shabnam, Tatseena and Monica. Are there any others that I may have missed? Could anyone tell me a bit about them?

Thanks for all your help!

Hipline Bellydance Studio in Berkeley has some amazing teachers. Ahava and Samar both teach the Intermediate/Adv classes and they are so much fun. I'm a recent convert to Egyptian style from ATS/ITS/TF and really getting a lot from their instruction. www.myhipline.com is the website.

Wow, i love that hipline has all different times of days to work with my weird grad-student schedule, and classes that seem geared towards fitness. I'll definitely be checking them out!

I wish Nena's schedule worked with mine...perhaps next quarter!

      Thanks everyone for the info!
